The present invention provides a hydrogen leakage monitoring system for monitoring hydrogen leakage at each of at least one joint to which hydrogen transport pipes are connected. The system includes: a hydrogen leakage detection housing having an internal space sealed from the outside along a longitudinal direction of the pipe and accommodating the joint therein; a hydrogen leakage detection tape attached so as to seal an outer circumference of the joint and configured to change color at a portion where hydrogen leaks; a hydrogen leakage monitoring module configured to detect discoloration of the hydrogen leakage detection tape and generate hydrogen leakage monitoring information; and a communication module configured to transmit the hydrogen leakage monitoring information to a preset control server.
Accordingly, by detecting hydrogen leakage while suppressing and delaying the leakage and providing an early warning to an administrator, the system secures time to repair the hydrogen leakage, thereby further enhancing safety in hydrogen production and utilization facilities.
