The present disclosure provides a road condition recognition apparatus using a multidirectional long short-term convolutional network. In the present embodiment, in order to accurately classify road conditions for safe driving of a vehicle, the multidirectional long short-term convolutional network is used to rapidly and accurately identify various road conditions, thereby providing a road condition recognition apparatus capable of improving road condition assessment.
